Both of these beads are made with a ruffle forming tool. The first bead (top) starts as a flat diamond with aventurine and black trails. It is then twisted and the edges ruffled. It is a rugged bead and can be used in bracelets. The round second bead has six ruffled flutes. A black trail has been applied to the edges of the six flutes. We recommend that this bead be used in earrings or necklaces or pendants. The flutes are a bit thin to be used in a bracelet which often gets knocked about.
